Ritesh Rai

I am a student of Mechanical Engineering (Robotics and Automation) at Maharashtra Institute of Technology - World Peace University(MIT-WPU), Kothrud, Pune. I am curious about all the parts that play a  role in machines today. I also like building machines.

 

I am part of Team Piranha Racing, a SAE BAJA club at MIT-WPU. I have been part of the team that stood 2nd Runner Up in 2025 mBAJA competition at SAE India.

I  have built an electronic shredder dustbin named “EcoShredBin” which shreds plastic and metal thereby reducing its volume. I have  enrolled in Georgia Tech alumni Dr. Wayne Whiteman’s online lectures on ‘Basic Engineering Mechanics’ to understand the fundamentals of the subject. I also undertook a course on Thermodynamics, which detailed the science behind ‘transferring energy from here to there.’ Being an eco-conscious person, I also wrote a research paper titled ‘The impact of Carbon Dioxide on the surface temperature change contributing to climate change’.
